TAG Heuer postpones launch of Carrera CH80 chronograph

Says the delay will help keep all manufacturing of movements at one plant

TAG Heuer has delayed the manufacture and launch of the Carrera CH80 chronograph, and will be focusing on production of the CH1887 chronograph movement which will be used in its Carrera watches, reports say.  The brand has completed developing the Carrera CH80 chronograph. The brand has postponed the production of this movement as it would allow all the manufacturing activities of all movements in one plant, in Switzerland, reports add.  The Calibre CH1887 was launched in 2010 and has won the Petite Aiguille prize at the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix, reports add.
